Special events
The beacon house of prayer is involved with special events city wide and plays host to many events.
BEACON HOUSE OF PRAYER PLAN FOR 24/7 IN 2012.
Over the time the Beacon has been in existance we have gradually built our hours of worship and prayer to five days filling 12 hours each day. Also there is a Sunday gathering.
However the Beacon leadership have been given an invitation and challenge from God to launch into twenty four hours and seven days a week of continuous prayer for 2012. Many other prayer groups feel the same burden of continuous prayer. Stoke on Trent has been on a prayer journey for over ten years when 2C7 was started and this journey continues into 24/7 prayer in 2012 in the shape of continuous prayer and worship at the Beacon. Many Churches have offered to help the Beacon and individuals have offered their assistance to take the baton and pray for our City and our Nation. The Beacon leadership are aware of their inadequacy to complete this mission unless God provides, fortunately he is Jehovah Jirah the one who provides. It is his work and his resource that we seek to fulfill this challenge.
If you are called by God to offer a contribution of time and your gift of intercession / worhsip / prayer / hosting / music / leading please contact us at the Beacon. Our aim is to give our God the glory and praise that he is so worthy of, as we seek his face for our City and Nation. There will be some training days in the Autumn as we prepare for the coming year. There is a face book group called whynotprayforachange which you may log on and keep up to date.

As the time approaches for the Bishops visit our expectation is rising, he will minister at our School of Ministry on Friday night and also on Saturday sharing his experience, in Cuba, of revival. Please do not miss this opportunity to hear from a humble man the power of God in oppressed countries.
