Vision: to pray for spiritual transformation in our city and nation and to help people explore prayer and the spiritual dimension to life; by creating a dedicated regional prayer facility with a range of outreach ministries.

Aspects of the House of Prayer ministry

• Prayer space - 24/7 creative prayer and quiet space open at regular times for anyone to use for prayer and reflection.

• Prayer focus - daily times of corporate worship and prayer – opportunities for people to pray for spiritual revival in our communities and nation and for world issues.

• Prayer hub - a web-based way of connecting with the wider church in the local area and the Christian prayer movement across the world.

• Prayer outreach - a variety of ministries offering prayer for healing and experiences of creative prayer in schools, town centres and public places.

The Beacon prayer facilities are available for anyone to use and are open at regular times daytime and some evenings each week. Please see visitor’s information page. Christians and churches across the region are welcome to support the House of Prayer vision.

The Beacon is a fresh expression ministry of the Methodist Church (Chester and Stoke District) and is supported by a range of churches in North Staffordshire and Cheshire as well as the 2C7 Christian movement
