The Beacon is a fresh expression ministry of the Methodist Church (Chester and Stoke District) and is supported by a range of churches in North Staffordshire and Cheshire as well as the 2C7 Christian movement

Vision:
to be a vibrant regional prayer facility praying for spiritual transformation in our city and nation and helping people explore prayer and the spiritual dimension to life.

Facilities:
The Beacon prayer facilities are available for anyone to use and are open at regular times daytime and some evenings each week. Please see visitors information page. Christians and churches across the region are welcome to support the House of Prayer vision

These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.

Prayer Focus

Aspects of the House of Prayer ministry:

- Prayer space - 24/7 creative prayer and quite space open at regular times for eveyone to use for prayer and reflection

- Prayer focus - daily times of corporate worship and prayer / opportunities for people to pray for spiritual revival in our communities and nation and for world issues

- Prayer hub - a web based way of connecting with the wider church in the local area and the Christian prayer movement around the world

- Prayer outreach - a variety of ministries offering prayer for healing and experiences of creative prayer in schools, town centres and public places.

INTERCESSORS

We have also set up an intercessors forum to help people across the city and region who have a heart to pray to be connected.

We are encouraging sharing about the prophetic words God is giving and making sense of the wider picture as we look for more of His glory.
