Testimonies from Healing Rooms
"A friend recommended I go to the Healing Rooms to have prayer as I was feeling desperate to move on with God. I have been a Christian for most of my life, but never really managed to have a real relationship with God; praying was like talking to a wall and although I enjoyed worship, my life was becoming less and less Christian.
I have been several times to the Healing Rooms, and I have been able to talk about aspects of my life from the past that have left me feeling desperate, lonely and worthless; this has included broken and abusive relationships, divorced parents and ongoing decisions as a single parent.
Each time I have been, I have been given scripture and words of knowledge from the Lord that have spoken very clearly to me of God's unconditional love for me. It has started to sink in that God loves me, He wants me to be whole and healed and to shine with His love. I have found this very overwhelming and there have been lots of tears of joy and pain. One picture I was given was of a jug that had been broken into pieces, then God came and put the jug back together so that no-one could tell it had ever been broken - I was the jug!
I know God is fixing me and I feel loved by Him which surpasses anything else I could wish to achieve. I pray that He won't stop and that His love will shine from me so that others can be touched and healed".

"At the time I came to Stoke on Trent Healing Rooms I was suffering quite badly with anxiety. This was not only affecting my sleep but also my daily life and I was finding it increasingly difficult to function, I had also experienced several panic attacks. The day after I received prayer I noticed an immediate improvement and the "knot of anxiety" I had continually felt in my stomach had disappeared. During the next few weeks I continued to improve and I am feeling (and sleeping) much better".

"I came to Healing Rooms for emotional healing. I give God the glory for answered prayer".

"I first came to the Healing Rooms in March 2010. It was St Patrick's Day, it is the day my life changed. In November 2007 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer, grade 3, which is particularly aggressive. I went through chemo and admissions to hospital. The final admission was a living hell. I was so ill, by this time even walking was an effort. I had developed multiple lymph nodes in my neck and given the prognosis of only months to live without treatment.
It was at this time I visited the Healing Rooms. The peace I found in the Healing Rooms was beyond human understanding. I went from being cast into the stormy sea to walking with Jesus on the still calm water. He spoke to me in ways I could never have dreamt of. From the 'laying on of hands' came the realisation of the depth of the love He has for me. One time I had a vision where I touched the back of his garment, I didn't see His face, just touched the material, but I knew it was Him.
The inner peace I have felt since coming to the Healing Rooms is awesome. He is my comforter and protector. He has healed the inner terror and replaced it with His overwhelming grace and peace".
