City hub

The Beacon is called to be a prayer hub, both for our City and our Nation. Andrea Cranshaw is co-ordinating a group of intercessors for our City. They meet each month, on the last Friday night, to seek the face of God for this City and Nation. Since January 2010 there have been prayer gatherings for intercessors, at the Beacon, and many from different denominations, have taken part in the free flowing worship and prophetic prayer, which we believe is strategic part of the battle for City and Nation.

Intercessors meet on the last Friday of each month. If you feel called to be a part of this exciting and vital ministry please contact us: Tel: 01782827238 or e-mail thebeaconinfo@btinternet.com

The Beacon house of prayer, as part of its vision as a vibrant prayer centre, is a resource for local churches to use. There are excellent facilities for small groups to use as part of a morning/ afternoon or evening gathering please contact for further details.

As an example Cross Rhythms - the team from Crossrhythms radio in Stoke on Trent - come up to the Beacon every couple of months for prayer. We worship together and stand with them in intercession for what God is doing through them and their developing vision for media in the city and nation.

St. Andrews of Sneyd Green also use the house for their intercession group.

Also excitingly for us the young men and women of Potters House have also used the house for prayer.

If you would like to use the house of prayer for a church leadership away day, or for a small prayer group from your fellowship to use, please get in touch on our contacts page

We are also developing connections within the Methodist district of Chester & Stoke for encouraging prayer and mission.
