Prayer outreach

The Lord is developing among us at the Beacon prophetic anointing to reach into the area and the nation through differing ministries and opportunities, as doors open to us.    

PRAYER WALKING
There has been a significant development in prayer walking different areas, we are aware that many churches often walk their surrounding areas. However God, we feel, is asking for a united prayer walk where the baton of prayer is passed from one area to another. That as hands touch across the area God will bring a new unity amongst his people. The walking began with a group beginning in Bentilee, with the help of people from the area aiding and guiding the prayer team. We have some prophetic pictures and words that will be shared with the necessary ministers or prayer groups and we will attempt to keep up with the development as they go from area to area. All are welcome to join the walk; we are not being exclusive in any way just seeking to be obedient to the command of the Holy Spirit. We will provide information about what has happened and we will issue times and dates of proposed prayer walk as we receive them. The goal of walking the City in 40 weeks was succesfully achieved, we wait on God to see what is next.  

SCHOOL OUTREACH
We had a door open for us to lead worship and prayer at one of our major faith schools. The worship band led an hour and half of worship and prayer that saw 150-200 high school children worshipping together. Since then we have repeated with more and more numbers the worship twice more. Please keep praying that we get more and more opportunities to bring young Christians into the presence of God at school.  

SCHOOL PRAYER
The opportunity arose for us to try and co-ordinate a group of Christian teachers who want to meet and pray about the education of our children. This is ongoing and we support all prayer initiatives that further the kingdom of God.
